How is content found by the Google Search Appliance?

The Google Search Appliance finds Web sites by crawling through Ball State's official Web site. A site will only be picked up if it is linked through an official Ball State site.

In our licensing agreement with Google, we can index up to one million pages. Because of this limit, the Ball State Google search engine may not pick up all pages, including many personal Web sites.
