Articles are important, too
Correctly inputting articles into the content management system is also very important in making sure your relevant information is found by Google. Some best practices include:

  • Try to get keywords in the article headline that you believe users will be most likely to use to search for this information.

  • DO NOT simply copy and paste your headline into the "summary" area. In the Google search, relevant articles will be ranked similarly to pages. For this reason, follow the best practices for page descriptions when entering articles.

  • Make sure the article itself contains keywords that your audience might use to search for information.
