From the Diaries of Radiance and Dark

A band of water lies
along the deck.

And, in the late evening sky,
a band of light.

Along our skin, haven't
Orions gathered,

one by one, until even
the finest hairs

suddenly flair
and are all white fire?

All time is lit with anthurium
lanterns and pearls.

Look how our shadows swagger!
Look how the lattice

we call our bones bolts
and braces this world.
