A. D. Winans is a native San Francisco poet, writer, photographer, and former editor of Second Coming Magazine/Press. He is the author of numerous books and chapbooks, recently including This Land Is Not My Land (Presa Press) and The Wrong Side of Town (Cross Cultural Communications). Presa Press will soon publish his Selected Poems.

He is the winner of the 2006 PEN Oakland National Literary Award
