Here are images of some of my recent paintings. The photos are snapshots, so the color is not exact and the cropping sometimes isn't precise.
Many of these are exercises, sketches, explorations, often on paper. If I end up liking some of them enough, I'll try to do them in higher quality, on canvas or board.
It seems to me that, for the most part, I have been making two kinds of paintings that should be called "pictures" or "designs" (mostly abstract, and more or less decorative). I enjoy these (painting them and looking at them), but i don't think they can be taken as seriously as can the others. I think the dyptich is an example of what might seriously be called a "painting"--more passion and intensity of imagination in it's creation. Also the portraits, but they are still exercises, from which I'm trying to learn how.
