1940s

 Marjorie E. Fields, (1949) art and (1960) MA French,  taught three years at Yorktown as an art teacher after  graduation. She then went into a property management  business. She is now retired and travels as an  amateur photographer.

1960s

 Patricia Lee Evans, (1967) music, was very involved in  area music. She recently took part in the second annual  Waycross Area Composer's Concert as one of the  singers and composers.  Carla Rae Johnson, (1969) art, is a visual artist, and  her media include drawing, sculpture, conceptual,  performance, and installation art. She is a New York  Foundation for the Arts 2005 Fellow in Sculpture and a  1990 recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant.  Her work has been exhibited in solo, individual, and  curated shows in museums and galleries nationally and  in New York City and is included in numerous public  and private collections. She received a master of fine  arts from the University of Iowa in 1975 and now  resides in the artists' community of Peekskill, New York.  Daniel Sherry, (1963) music and (1966) MA biology,  has been in the same Top 40 nightclub band since  1969. He is now retired but still works part-time  as a fisheries biologist for a Tennessee wildlife resources agency.   Robert C. Tarlow, (1960) art, (1970) MA psychology,  and (1975) EdD, was selected as one of the artists in  the book Painting Indiana, The Changing Face of  Agriculture and was invited to the Statehouse to  paint Governor Mitch Daniels' portrait. 

1970s

Jacqueline Lee Brown, (1974) speech and (1976) MA  theatre, was recently named department chair of the  performing arts department of the Loran G. Skinner  Auditorium at Pendleton, Indiana. She was also a  member of the College of Fine Arts Advisory Board  and representative to the Alumni Council, where  she received the Benny Award in 2006.  Matthew Stephen Davish, (1978) music education,  has recorded three CDs with the Nashville Symphony  (2001–2007) and performed with L. Pavarotti (1993).  He has also played more than 50 touring Broadway  productions in Nashville, Tennessee, and toured with  NSO and Amy Grant. He has continued his work in the  recording field and as a member of freelance musical  organizations and has private instruction in woodwinds.  David Garrett, (1979) music, is in his ninth season as  a cellist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He teaches  at California State University-Long Beach and maintains  an active chamber music and recital performance  schedule. In summer 2007, he and his wife, pianist  Junko Ueno Garrett, played a series of recitals in Japan  under the auspices of the U.S. State Department,  presenting music by American composers.  Jan Lynette Stewart, (1971) music and (1979) MA  music, has retired after teaching music for 35 years in  the Chardon local schools and plans to travel around  the country.  Dale Threlkeld, (1970) MA art, has a solo exhibition of  paintings at the Krasl Art Center, St. Joseph, Michigan,  April 11–May 18, and guest artist and solo exhibition  at the Dogwood Festival, Dowagiac, Michigan, 2006.

1980s

 Melody Sue Jackson, (1983), earned her PhD in  mythological studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute.  She completed two marathons and was named a  Top Five Script Consultant in the Country by  Creative Screenwriting magazine.  Mark Kratzner, (1987) theatre, worked at the  Indianapolis Museum of Art as an audio-visual  technician for 15 years, which inspired him to make  a museum from his small collection of Hollywood hoosiers items
