About Greening of the Campus |
Moving to the Mainstream |
| Ball State University’s
first three
Greening of the Campus conferences in 1996, 1997, and 1999 each
attracted
200 participants from about 30 states and a few foreign countries for a
dynamic international exchange of ideas on environmental concerns.
Greening of the Campus 4 provided a new
opportunity to
further explore the critical issues, problems, and solutions we still
face
on our campuses As a follow-up to the
previous conference,
Greening of the Campus III, more than 200 participants from six
countries
attended “Greening of the Campus IV: Moving to the Mainstream”,
September
20-22, 2001. Conference participants once again explored
strategies
for making colleges and universities environmentally sensitive models
for
society. |
