About Greening of the Campus |
Theory and Reality |
| Ball State University's
first two Greening
of the Campus conferences in April 1996 and September 1997 each
attracted
200 participants from about 30 states and a few foreign countries for a
successful international exchange of ideas on environmental concerns.
"Greening of the Campus III: Theory and Reality" provided a new opportunity to further explore the critical issues, problems, and solutions we still face on our campuses and in our world on the eve of the new century and millennium. As a follow-up to the previous conference,
Greening of
the Campus II, more than 200 participants from many countries attended
“Greening of the Campus III: Theory and Reality”, September 30-October
2, 1999. Conference participants once again explored strategies
for
making colleges and universities environmentally sensitive models for
society. |
