Finnish architects and lighting designers Julle Oksanen and Hannu Tikka visited BSU as a part of a nationwide tour of U.S. schools of architecture.  Their self-designed "mobile Finnish university" titled "The Light and Space Academy" is focused upon lighting education and on creating collaborative experiences. The pair spoke to BSU students about some of their recent work and of the importance of good lighting design in the practice of architecture.  In addition to their presentation, the visitors engaged in discussions with BSU faculty about potential collaborative projects.
