Rose Wright has been with Ball State University’s Center for Economic and Community Development since 1984. She was originally hired as an office assistant and was later promoted to department secretary. Her current position is project/financial specialist.

Wright is a native of Marks, Mississippi, where she graduated from high school. After moving to Muncie, she attended and completed Indiana Business College. She enjoys and appreciates the time she gets to spend with her two daughters.

Wright’s responsibilities include:

• coordination of the Indiana Economic Development Course, including participant registration and liaison for scholarship providers and recipients
• center financial management
• office management
