:: Mr. Richard L. Lobdell
Richard L. Lobdell is a Vice President
in the International Department for Fifth Third Bank,
Indiana. Richard's responsibilities include working
as primary relationship manager for firms with foreign
ownership, foreign exchange and assisting exporting
and importing firms within trade financing.
He has been with the bank for 3 years
and brings to the position over 28 years of experience
in international banking. Previous experience has
included extensive travel in Asia and Europe in support
of his client's banking needs. Such travel is still
conducted periodically to visit the parents or subsidiaries
of the bank's clients to oversee the coordination
of banking needs between the client's foreign entity
and the U.S. client. Currently he serves on the Board
of Directors of the World Trade Club of Indiana and
Treasurer of New Paradigm Christian Church.
Richard received his Bachelor of Science
degree in International Area Studies from Ball State
University, Muncie, Indiana and his Masters Degree
in International Finance from Thunderbird Graduate
School of International Management, Glendale, Arizona.
He resides in a 115 year old house in downtown Indianapolis
and enjoys travel with his family and woodworking.
