:: Dr. Cecil E. Bohanon

Dr. Cecil E. Bohanon is a Professor of Economics at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He has published over 20 refereed professional articles, notes and comments in such journals as American Economic Review, The National Tax Journal, and Public Choice. He has written over 30 popular articles, monographs and newspaper editorials that have appeared in the Freeman and Wall Street Journal. He has had extensive media experience appearing on both radio and television. He has won numerous teaching awards. He is an advisor for the Heartland Institute, and a senior fellow at the Indiana Policy Review Foundation. He has been a Libertarian candidate and activist. He is married to Barbara Alvarez, Associate Professor of Music Education at Ball State University. He is on the national board of the Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship. He has served on the board of Planned Parenthood of East Central Indiana, and currently serves on the Board of Christian Ministries of Delaware County.
