Second Baccalaureate Degree TrackWelcome to the baccalaureate nursing program at Ball State University. If you would like to enter the nursing profession and already have a baccalaureate degree in a non-nursing field, you can take advantage of Ball State's second Baccalaureate degree track. This on-campus track is an accelerated way to earn the degree you need and to prepare for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). After meeting prerequisite and University Core Curriculum requirements, you'll complete the nursing courses and clinical hours for your degree in just 19 months. If your first degree is in a health related field, it's likely that you already have science credits that apply toward this degree.
