School of Nursing, Ball State University
Second Baccalaureate Degree Track
Welcome to the baccalaureate nursing program at Ball State University.  If you would like to enter the nursing profession and already have a baccalaureate degree in a non-nursing field, you can take advantage of Ball State's second Baccalaureate degree track. This on-campus track is an accelerated way to earn the degree you need and to prepare for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). After meeting prerequisite and University Core Curriculum requirements, you'll complete the nursing courses and clinical hours for your degree in just 19 months. If your first degree is in a health related field, it's likely that you already have science credits that apply toward this degree.
