Responsibilities Line 1

Lisa Harber began teaching at Ball State University in the Fall of 2005. Since becoming faculty, she has taught many courses in the classroom, online, and in the clinical setting. Her experience as an RN focused mainly on the care of elders in long-term and skilled type settings. She is board certified as an adult and geriatric nurse practitioner which has led her to practice in nursing homes and in chronic disease specialty clinics, specifically working with congestive heart failure and chronic kidney disease.  In addition to teaching, she currently works in a Muncie cardiology practice as a nurse practitioner.  She has a passion for caring for the elderly, and for helping students understand the unique needs of this population.
