Michelle Mattice Dancer has been an instructor for Ball State University’s School of Nursing since January 2004.  Even though women's health and the childbearing family is her primary interest, she also enjoys opportunities to help beginning students develop their physical assessment and critical thinking skills.  Michelle has worked in orthopedics, labor & delivery, postpartum care, and nursery as a registered nurse.  As a Certified Nurse Midwife, she practiced at a local free-standing birthing center, Expectations, providing women’s healthcare.
