Ann Wieseke, an associate professor in the School of Nursing, has been a faculty member since 1980. She teaches undergraduate, graduate, and Internet courses focused on pathophysiology, health assessment, adult health, and research. She has a strong interest in cultural variations in health behavior and has been the director for the school's Jamaican Field Experience. In Jamaica, both graduate and undergraduate students work in health clinics in a variety of settings to provide care for the native Jamaicans.

Ann has worked for over 24 years in adult critical care and has been an adult nurse practitioner for 6 years with a focus on endocrinology. She is very involved in community service including health fairs, and was the chair of the health care subcommittee of the Vision 2006 - Muncie and Delaware County task force. She conducts research in the area of health care economics, self-efficacy, depression, and Nurse Midwife care.  Ann serves as the chair of the NLN Taskforce Predicting Student Success and on the AANP Nominations Committee.
