Kathryn Humphrey teaches both the classroom and clinical components for Basic Concepts in Nursing.  She has been a staff nurse in the areas of Medical/Surgical Nursing, NICU Unit, Resource Nurse, and Clinical Educator in a hospital setting.  Kathryn spent several years teaching in a LPN program, school nursing, and as instructor in an associate degree RN program.  Presently, she occasionally works as a staff nurse on a surgical unit in a local hospital.  She enjoys working with nursing students while sharing her knowledge and experience with them.
