Second Baccalaureate Degree Track Admission Requirements
To be accepted into the second Baccalaureate degree track, you must be accepted to Ball State University as an undergraduate student. To qualify for admission to the 19-month clinical nursing track, you must:

1.    Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (You must provide official transcript verifying the degree to the School of Nursing with application).

2.    Have satisfactorily completed all University Core Curriculum and prerequisite courses.

3.    Have earned a grade of C or better in ANAT 201, BIO 113, CHEM 101, PHYSL 215, PSYSC 100, and SOC 100.  These courses can be or have been reapeated only one time to obtain a grade of C or above.

4.    Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in all undergraduate coursework attempted.

5.  Disclose criminal background.  Applicants need to be aware they may not be admitted based on their criminal background.   

Application Deadlines

Students are admitted to the 19 month clinical sequence in the fall semester only. You must apply to the School of Nursing.  Applications for the 19 month track Program are accepted in CP253 only during the first 10 days of Spring semester for the following Fall admission.  All applicants must turn in sealed official transcripts for all undergraduate course work attempted from EACH institution, including BSU, at the time of application.
