History: A $40,000 gift from a World War II nurse and her husband, Philomena "Fifi" and James Findling, establishes this School of Nursing scholarship. The scholarship encourages students in the field that Mrs.Findling practiced as a member of the Navy Medical Corps. A graduate of St.Like's School of Nursing in Pittsfield, MA she was the chief operating nurse at the Newport, RI Naval Hospital.

Requirments: Applicants must be Ball State nursing students, with preference given to juniors and seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference is also given to Daleville High School graduates.
