Haber was quoted in an Aug. 10 article, "Gerontology," by Aging and Elder Health Week. Haber conducted a study on the amount of information produced by gerontology professors. He gathered more than 250 articles in a nine-month period and included the information in his Health and Aging course. "Gerontology faculty members who make the connection between current news events and course material, as well as incorporate that connection into their recruitment efforts, will discover an opportunity to promote their discipline," Haber said.
