On May 21, Inside Indiana Business reported the incorporation of a nationally recognized business management strategy into a new Six Sigma minor at Ball State as a result of a gift-in-kind from an alumnus.
"There are Fortune 500 firms paying high salaries to attract employees with Six Sigma training," Ludec said. "Our plan is to educate students from a variety of majors on the Six Sigma system. It could transform our education process."
The minor's program includes six weeks of course work and an immersive learning experience with a company mentor where they will apply their learned skills.
