Vera Bradley president shares business acumen with students (4/6/2007)

Vera Bradley Designs president Patricia Miller visited Ball State at the request of President Jo Ann M. Gora. While on campus April 3, Miller shared her business acumen with students attending fashion buying, merchandising, e-commerce and new venture classes offered by the Department of Management and the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS).

Miller also met with Entrepreneurship Center Director Larry Cox and Alice Spangler, the chairwoman of FCS.

Miller, a former teacher, met Gora while both were members of a 2005 Indiana trade delegation visit to Japan with Gov. Mitch Daniels.
