Day Two Journal

Friday began bright and early with a team meeting in which four areas of focus were developed.  These include 16th Street/Bio-Crossroads Connection; Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St.; the industrial areas; and the Central Canal.  Another team focused on general housing improvements throughout the entire neighborhood.  During the day the groups developed maps and sketches illustrating development scenarios for each of these areas.  By late evening the walls of the Riverside Park Family Recreation Center were covered with dozens of maps and sketches as team members presented their concepts and ideas.
