Using PDF Documents |
Download Acrobat Now |
||||
|
Many documents on the UNWA Neighborhood Plan website are posted in PDF
format to allow maximum flexibility, security, and ease of use. PDF files are a
universal cross-platform file type that allows anyone to view any document that
has been converted into the format. They are not plagued with the virus and trojan problems associated with popular desktop office software, eliminate
problems with fonts, and package all document content into one compressed file.
PDF documents are also accessible to persons with disabilities using a service
provided by Adobe. PDF files can be viewed and printed with the free Adobe
Acrobat Reader, available online for
download here.

Most problems printing the pdf file come from using the web browser's print
function. You must use the print function from the acrobat plugin bar,
which is located below the browser navigation and address bars. This bar also
contains other features including a zoom, plan, next/previous page navigation,
and search tools. |

| Trouble Opening File | |||||
|
If you have trouble opening a pdf file after clicking on the
link, you may want to try saving the file directly to your
computer. Some of the pdf files on this site are fairly large
and may take some time to open, while at other times network
traffic on our servers may provide slow download speeds. You can
right-click on the link to the PDF file and select the "Save
Target As" or "Save File As" command to save the file directly
to your computer. You will then see the standard download
window showing the download progress. |
