GREEN BUILDINGS: Incorporate energy efficient and ecologically sound practices into new

Consider guidelines for green design buildings and landscaping and a program
recognizing “green” design. Increase the number of native trees and naturalized plantings along riverfronts and
thoroughfares and support the tree preservation initiative.
