Founded in 1870 as an early suburb of Indianapolis along the National Road, Irvington is a community rich in history and identity.  From the winding tree-lined streets, public parks and greenways, historic homes and community spirit, Irvington has long been a unique neighborhood in Indianapolis.  The Irvington Neighborhood Plan seeks to build on the strengths of the neighborhood, identify and address issues facing the community, and discuss and develop consensus on the future direction of the area.

This website is designed to provide residents and stakeholders resources on Irvington as well as to provide another level of public participation in the development of the plan.  Learn more about the plan and neighborhood.  Check out the growing library of maps and other resources.  See when the committees meet and what they've discussed.  And join the discussion yourself!
