Master of Urban and Regional Planning Back

The Department of Urban Planning typically offers several graduate-level courses at CAP:IC in partnership with the CAP:IC Graduate Fellows Program (accelerated track students).  The Department offers a two-year, forty-eight (48) credit hour program that comprises the standard MURP track. A reduction of twelve (12) credit hours is applied to an  accelerated track program that may be completed within one calendar year {a full academic year plus dual summer session); this thirty-six (36) credit hour program is available to graduates of urban planning Bachelor’s programs accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB).  It is important to note that neither track is entirely Indianapolis-based and students may be required to take courses on the Ball State campus or through alternative Ball State Extended Education venues.

For more information on the Urban Planning curriculum and program, visit the Department's website at http://www.bsu.edu/planning.  For more information on admission to Ball State's Graduate School, visit http://www.bsu.edu/gradschool

The MURP program is administered by the Department of Urban Planning at Ball State and CAP:IC serves only as a host facility.  Please direct any questions to:
