Workshop Begins with Community Forum
The Central State Reuse Workshop began Thursday evening with a open
community forum at the George Washington Community School. A
brief presentation was given about the purpose of the study, basic
research already conducted, and description of the workshop process.
This presentation can also be viewed
online here. After the presentation dozens of interested
neighborhood stakeholders joined workshop team members for group
discussions about ideas, issues, and concerns regarding the Central
State property. The input gathered will form the foundation for
the workshop which continues through Saturday.
Everyone is welcome to stop in at anytime during the
workshop to chat with the design team or just to see what ideas are
floating around. The workshop is being held in the Community
