| Sanborn maps are large-scale maps that were created to
assist fire insurance companies as they assessed the risk associated
with a particular property. The highly detailed parcel-by-parcel maps
show all buildings, their construction, height, and use, as well as
streets and water lines.
Sanborn maps are available (preview size and high-quality format)
for the Central State site for the following years:
