Muncie Urban Design Studio (MUDS)
Ball State University's Muncie Urban Design Studio (MUDS) provides a national award-winning example of a unique cooperative effort that marshals university and community resources to improve the quality of life in a typical American city.

Part of the College of Architecture and Planning's Community Based Projects (CBP) program, MUDS serves as both an educational and public service resource. It allows CAP's faculty and students to offer ongoing urban design and planning assistance directly to constituents of the city's Community Development Department and to local not-for-profit social/human services, arts, cultural, and service organizations.
