CAP Library

The Architecture Library is a branch of University Libraries conveniently located in the Architecture Building, Room 116. It offers a wide array of research materials related to architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, historic preservation, and environmental design. Materials may be checked out by College of Architecture and Planning students and faculty as well as all other Ball State ID holders, alumni, and Indiana residents. This library contains more than 27,000 volumes of books and bound periodicals, subscribes to more than 100 current periodicals, and maintains various microforms. The Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals is available on CD-ROM in the library and also online through the University Libraries' Web site. Special collections include rare books, early periodicals, and bound undergraduate and graduate theses.

The Architecture Library's regular hours during the academic year are:

     Monday--Thursday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
     Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
     Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
     Sunday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Hours vary during academic breaks, interim periods, and summer sessions. Current hours are always available by calling (765) 285-7828 from a touchtone phone.
