Dr. David Lipschitz, physician, author and award-winning television host, leads the nation with innovative approaches to growing older, focusing on health maintenance and disease prevention. In 2002, he wrote, Breaking the Rules of Aging, which introduced his core philosophy for lifelong health, highlighting the key elements of successful aging and debunking the negative stereotypes of senior living. He is one of the most recognized geriatricians in the nation. Dr. Lipschitz was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, received an M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Witwaterstrand before immigrating to the United States in 1972. He has served as Director of the Division of Hematology/Oncology, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He continues to live, teach and see patients in Little Rock, Arkansas. He also writes a weekly syndicated column, Lifelong Health, and appears on the Little Rock's daily news show, 'Good Morning Arkansas.'
