Ball State’s Summer Wind Ensemble and Summer Jazz Ensemble join forces to present traditional and contemporary works representing all music periods and styles and including classic hits of the big bands. This concert replaces the summer outdoor concert series scheduled in previous years on the Bracken Library Plaza and then on the Arts Terrace. The Summer Band is conducted by Shawn Vondran, the Jazz Ensemble by Mark Buselli.
