Miller Scholars

The Miller Scholars program offers you a powerful and vibrant experience that's second to none. The program honors and supports the highest-caliber students enrolling in the Miller College of Business at Ball State University. Miller Scholars exemplify strong academic drive, professionalism, leadership, and ethical and moral character. 

Benefits of being a Miller Scholar
  • full tuition and fees (renewable for up to eight semesters)
  • laptop computer from the Ball State Bookstore (ordered by the Miller College of Business)
  • study abroad experience
  • internship stipend to cover travel and lodging expenses
  • domestic group travel experience
  • professional development expense account such as job search expenses and resume preparation
  • admission into the Miller College Pre-Business Honors and Honors program

Characteristics of Applicants
Students with high academic backgrounds and experience outside the classroom are highly valuable to us. As high school students, our Miller Scholars led and participated in numerous school organizations such as the National Honor Society, student government, and peer mentor groups. They were, and continue to be, active in academic, athletic, and arts activities, from decathlons to theatre productions.

How to Apply
Please submit your application by January 5. Finalists for the Miller Scholar award will be required to participate in an on-campus interview day on January 31, 2009. To be considered for the Miller Scholars program, you must be admitted to Ball State University by January 5 and have indicated a major in business.
