This allowance will be paid no more than once every two (2) years.  The effective date is based on the purchase date of the existing PDA if applicable.  The appropriate allowance should be determined and documented by the department head, but should not exceed more than $250.00 for a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). This allowance should be paid no more than once every two (2) years.  The university will reimburse the employee the full amount up to $250.00 with a receipt verifying the purchase.  The university will not pay activation fees.
