The Office of Bursar and Loan Administration is organized to support the three different types of accounts you may encounter while affiliated with Ball State University. Bursar accounts are active account receivables; loan accounts are active loan receivables and past due accounts are any accounts where payment is considered to be late regardless of whether it is a bursar or a loan account.

Payment Drop Box
For your convenience, the Payment Drop Box is accessible during normal business hours. Any payments left in the Drop Box prior to 3:30 PM will be processed the same business day. It is located near Room B27.

In order to speak with someone directly about your account or personally deliver your payment:

Bursar Accounts
Questions about your bursar account (active account receivables) can be answered by staff in Bursar Operations, Lucina, Room B31 or by calling (765)285-1643. During peak times, your call may be answered by an automated system which will put you in queue for the next available A/R Representative.

Hand delivery of payments may be made during normal business hours, Lucina, Room B31.

Loan Accounts
Questions about your loan account, including Perkins Loans, can be answered by staff in Lucina, Room B7 or by calling (765)285-5823.

Hand delivery of payments may be made during normal business hours, Lucina, Room B7.

Past Due Accounts
Questions about your past due bursar account (bursar accounts for a previous term) can be answered by staff in BLA A/R Collections in Lucina, Room B36 or by calling (765)285-1105.

Hand delivery of payments may be made during normal business hours, Lucina, Room B31.
