University/High School Credit Courses
Ball State University is currently teaching university courses in a select number of Indiana high schools through the College Transition Program.  High school students enrolled in the courses receive both high school and university credit for the courses.  Students enrolling at Ball State can receive university credit for academic credit earned for courses completed at the high school level.  The program will be expanded to additional Indiana high schools and will be offered during the regular school year, evenings, on weekends, and during the summer.  The program is administered through the Ball State University, School of Extended Education.  The program enhances the curriculum of Indiana high schools and supports the "public service" responsibility as set forth in Goal IV of the Ball State University Strategic Plan.  The student fee for each three (3) credit hour course is $250 per course.
