'The perfect immersive environment': Dan Kane

Dan Kane recently learned he was one of only six applicants accepted into an extremely competitive graduate studies program at Tufts University.

Dan credits much of this accomplishment to the incredible lab opportunities he received and to the faculty who guided him during his studies at Ball State.

'A new chapter in my life': Catherine Volk

Catherine Volk graduated with a master's degree. Originally from France, this 35-year-old mother of two had been out of the workforce for 12 years and wanted to pursue microbiology research.

She chose Ball State because of the personal attention she received from her faculty advisor and because of the lab experiences that were available to her.
