Year in Review: Sponsored Projects 2004-2005
Ball State sponsored program support achieved a record level of funding in 2004-2005. The total of $25,761,332 exceeded the previous record year by approximately $600,000. The university's success rate was a stunning 70% (252 proposals funded out of 362 submitted) and represents the ability of faculty and professional personnel to develop compelling proposals that speak to needful areas of investigation.

Many of these projects are characterized by collaborations with partners in education, business, national or regional institutions, and not-for-profit organizations. These graphs show recent levels of total funding, the sources of sponsorship, and the types of activities supported.
