No. Building Better Communities takes a broad view of community economic development. It takes more than just jobs to attract businesses and capable professionals into a community. Quality of life factors including the quality of K-12 education, workforce capabilities, infrastructure development, variety of available housing, recreational amenities, arts and entertainment, and downtown and neighborhood development all play a role. These aspects of community development relate to a broad range of disciplines represented at Ball State.
