Outreach projects across the state enhance student learning by giving participants valuable perspective and hands-on training. Solving real problems in real communities develops students' leadership skills and helps them understand their own leadership potential as they prepare for professional careers.
This involvement with the state's cities and towns also engages students in ways that might lead them to stay in or return to Indiana to work after graduation.
Ball State students can participate in community outreach efforts through class projects, internships and fellowships, and university research centers and service programs. Exciting opportunities are available through the Business Fellows program, Student Voluntary Services, and Federal Work-Study.
