The Ball State University Museum of Art's collection includes more than 5,000 works on paper, from prints and drawings to illuminated manuscripts and photographs.

Items include 19th-century works by Edgar Degas, Eugène Delacroix, Paul Gauguin, Pierre Auguste Renoir, and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec; 20th-century works by Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, and Andy Warhol; and Old Master prints by Albrecht Durer and Rembrandt van Rijn.

Selections from these works on paper form an important component of the museum's temporary exhibition schedule, as they can be damaged by exposure to light.
