The Friends of the Ball State University Museum of Art, organized more than 40 years ago, is a group of people dedicated to supporting and enhancing the many activities at the museum.

The Friends support the acquisitions program, making possible the continued growth of the collection. They also play a large role in promoting the museum's usefulness to the Ball State and Muncie-area communities.

The Ball State University Museum of Art has a long and distinguished history. It has taken a leadership role in the visual arts for more than 50 years, and the Friends ensure that the museum will remain a vital part of the community's cultural offerings.  The Friends Executive Committee meets every other month from September through May on the 2nd Monday at 4 p.m.
