The Ball State University Museum of Art's collection includes more than 3,500 examples of decorative arts and furniture. Traditional and modern furniture as well as decorative arts in porcelain, silver, ceramic, wood, and other materials are exhibited in the Decorative Arts and Furniture Gallery.

Some pre-18th-century decorative arts are included in installations on the Mezzanine and in the East and West Galleries.
