The Ball State University campus is located in east central Indiana in the city of Muncie, approximately 40 miles northeast of Indianapolis and 65 miles south of Fort Wayne.
Coming from Central or Northeastern Indiana
- Take I-69 to Exit 41 (Muncie/Frankton) at Highway 332.
- Turn onto Highway 332 heading east to Muncie.
- Follow Highway 332 east for approximately 8 miles to Tillotson Avenue (fourth stoplight).
- Turn right onto Tillotson (football stadium is on the left), and proceed southbound on Tillotson to Riverside Avenue (third stoplight) or University Avenue (fourth stoplight).
- Turn left (heading east) on either Riverside or University, and proceed to the campus for parking.
Coming from East Central Indiana or Western Ohio
- Take I-70 to Richmond, Indiana, and turn onto Highway 35 North.
- Take Highway 35 North to Muncie, where it will exit to the right and merge with Highways 67 and 3 into a bypass around the east side of Muncie. (Ignore the sign directing you to go straight for Ball State.)
- Follow the bypass to the McGalliard Road exit.
- Turn left onto McGalliard (heading west), and follow it for approximately 4 miles to Tillotson Avenue.
- Turn left onto Tillotson (football stadium is on the left), and proceed southbound on Tillotson to Riverside Avenue (third stoplight) or University Avenue (fourth stoplight).
- Turn left (heading east) on either Riverside or University, and proceed to the campus for parking.
