Additional Information
This exhibition of women’s artwork is named in honor of Nina B. Marshall. She was an artist, friend, and Ball State University professor who, in 1994, organized the first annual Women’s Week Women Faculty and Student Art Exhibition. The exhibition now carries her name as a statement of gratitude and admiration for all that she contributed to Ball State’s Women’s Studies Program and Department of Art. This exhibition is organized collaboratively by the Women’s Studies Program and the Department of Art. This year the exhibit will feature the artists’ varied concepts of their cultural domain without necessarily highlighting ethnicity, by reflecting their way of life, values, customs, and beliefs through their artwork. The Atrium Gallery is usually closed on Mondays however for Women’s Week, the Gallery will have extra hours on Monday, March 23 from 10:00 – 4:00 in honor of the first day of Women’s Week. Reception: Thursday, March 26 from 4-6 pm
