Adult Physical Fitness Program
Testing Services

                   

The Adult Physical Fitness Program provides a variety of cardiovascular risk factor screenings and physical fitness measurements.  Please call the program office for costs for the evaluations and to schedule an appointment.

Body Composition

            Risk Factor Profile:

                        Body Mass Index  (BMI) and Waist-to-hip Ratio (WHR)

            Total Body Fat Estimation:

                        Anthropometry (skinfold measurements)

                        Body Volume Measurement (BOD POD plethysmography)

                        Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry

                                    This includes regional body fat analysis

Resting Cardiovascular Risk Assessments

            Blood Pressure and Heart Rate

            12-lead Electrocardiogram

            Basic Blood Lipid Profile

            Total cholesterol, LDL-Cholesterol, HDL-Cholesterol, VLDL-Cholesterol,

            Triglycerides

            Fasting Blood Glucose

            Advanced Blood Lipid Profile

            LDL-Cholesterol Subfractions (LDL1, LDL2, LDL3, LDL4 and Lpa)

Pulmonary Function Testing
