The Human Performance Lab sponsored a Spring Lecture Series.
Dr. William Kraus was this year’s Getchell Lecturer.
Dr. Kraus, who is a Professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Duke University School of Medicine, lectured on the topic:
Skeletal Muscle Myopathy of Heart Failure:
Functional Implications for Exercise Intolerance
Dr. Kraus also gave a Grand Rounds lecture to the clinical staff at Ball Memorial Hospital entitled: “Physical Inactivity as a Disease and How Much Exercise to Do to Prevent It?”
The Clinical Exercise Physiology Program thanks Dr. Kraus for visiting Ball State University and for providing two excellent lectures.
