Cherokee musician Michael Jacobs, nominee for Best Male Performer and Best Pop Recording at the recent 2007 Native American Music Awards, presented a BSU concert on November 8, 2007 at The Tally/Pittenger Student Center.  The event was held in recognition of National American Indian Heritage Month during November.  The concert was co-sponsored by the Native American Studies Minor Program, the Office of the Provost, the Office of the Dean, College of Sciences and Humanities, and the Departments of Anthropology, English, and History.
