Byron L. and Iona Troyer Scholarships
The Department of Anthropology awards two scholarships of $2,500 annually (figure may vary slightly) to outstanding undergraduate anthropology majors entering their senior year.  One of the scholarships is named for benefactor Byron Troyer and the other scholarship is named for his wife, Iona Troyer.

Applications for these scholarships are accepted during the spring semester of the applicant's junior year and are due by the third Friday in March.

To be eligible you must have completed a minimum of 21 hours in anthropology and 96 hours of overall course work by the end of the semester during which you apply. You must also maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.

Troyer Grant Program
Several grants of up to $300 are available annually to qualifying anthropology students for professional development. These grants are intended to help defer expenses for research and presentations at conferences.

Awards will be made without regard to race, religion, gender, color, national origin, physical or mental disability, ancestry, or age.
